When should I treat cattails?
Cattails should be treated when the shoots reach 6-12” in early spring and/or in the Fall when the blade tips start to turn brown. Treat with a systemic herbicide mixed with 2% v/v an oil-based surfactant to penetrate the waxy leaf surface. For best results consider using Cattzilla! Always read any pesticide labels thoroughly and wear your PPE!
